Admission for walking the full length of the pier is fifty cents. Additional fees apply for those fishing. Pier 60 is the central point of Clearwater Beach. Spanning 1080 feet into the Gulf of Mexico, the pier separates the north and south beach. There is a large playground area for kids of all ages along with many pavilion areas, a concessions stand, and of course a very long pier well worth taking a stroll down. During the spring and summer hours Pier 60 is always open. During the fall and winter months it closes at 9:30pm. Anytime of year the sunsets are spectacular and well worth the wait.
